As you know I am doing femur stryde, I intend to do tibia after 2 years, question is - while I have seen many femur stryde diaries I don't remember seeing any tibia stryde diary, is it because of some particular reason or am I mistaken? any input?

It's probably because it's significantly more expensive than LON.

The procedure of the two is very similar and LON was developed by Paley anyway. You might as well get LON to be honest.

You'll be wearing frames during the lengthening procedure but a nail will be inserted for consolidation. It'll take about three months to lengthen 5cm

Many of Donghoon patients are tibia cases but most of us don’t use this forum since we are not native English speakers and have other internet communities
I know lots who are actually waiting for  Stryde to come in Korea in this October but all of us are not planning to report on this forum

There is a famous study which says that ~90% of the patients have lifelong knee pain after tibia lengthening with nail and on top it's more expensive.

that is LATN,   Lengthening And Then Insertion of an Intramedullary Nail

LON is  Lengthening over Intramedullary Nail

Stryde is most comfortable physically and mentally, bit is more expensive

~30% of the patients,  chronic knee pain, is a risk everyone planning tibia LL should  consider

PS, if i remember correctly Dr.paley say he has a lower rate and attribute this to his different technique
