Hello

I'm new. Just researching as much as I can. I am 47 years old 5'7. Good news is I have money saved up BUT it doesn't mean I would just blindly spend it . Since this is big surgery with ALLOT of recovery time. I have to factor in my age and recovery.

I'm in good shape work out allot.
Reading from others so far it seems many of posters here are young under 30's.  I gather. So I like to know if there are older folks here.

If I do the surgery I'm looking at it maybe in 1 or 2 years...biggest road block is my work involves me walking and staying active so that's the hard part.

This guy, oldiebutgoldie did the surgery while hitting 50s.

Read his entire diary, until his final message, it'll give you insight on not only if to do it, but also his sacrifices and time constraints.
