Are scar removal surgery effective for ilizarov scaring?

As the scar after ilizarov are horrible. I would like to ask this question. Pins will also damage fat tissue so there will be also depression on the pin sites. So can scar removal surgery solve those problems?

I think plastic surgeons would be more effective than dermatologists for scar removal after CLL.
