Someone with a spotless record. I heard Paley and Guichet are the best and safest, but when you hear things like Paley being kicked out of his hospital in Baltimore or Guichet being forced to move his practice to another country, then articles like this: http://www.sun-sentinel.com/local/palm-beach/fl-doctor-dror-paley-20160318-story.html, and reviews like this: http://www.vitals.com/doctors/Dr_Dror_Paley/reviews, it makes you question the legitimacy of these guys.
Of course this field is a bit out there, and the doctors who opt to perform cosmetic procedures like this have to have a questionable moral compass. If I'm going to spend over $100,000, take 5 months of out my life and possibly risk the ability to walk, I expect to have the best of the best taking care of me. Is there any doctor like that out there who doesn't practice in a 3rd world country, operate in a shoddy complex in the bad side of town or have numerous complaints against them?
Are there really any LEGIT doctors for this surgery?
It will take longer than five months. Aim for a year.
For internal femurs you also have that Dr in south Africa, also in Korea, as well as New York City, and Italy. I suggest going research on them
If you don't find Paley and Guichet good enough, you won't like anyone. They're the biggest names.
Just because they're the most marketed doctors does not mean their skill level is the highest.. Also, just because they charge the most, does not necessarily mean they provide the better service.

Shyshy, Programdude, Yellow, Vitruous. DIFM is getting there too I'm confident in him...
I've seen good recoveries from other doctors no doubt. But if I had to bet my entire life on any doctor when it comes to my legs, it'd probably be one of those 2... Experience, they heavily work with the manufacturing of their respected nails, and more importantly, they have a lot to lose if something terrible happens...
To your point though, I should have said: "they do better compared to other doctors..."

The handful of diaries here do not represent all LL patients. Also, if you research those two doctors outside of this forum, you'll find out that they aren't really the best overall. A doctors experience is important but is irrelevant if he doesn't have a good heart or intentions. Also the G Nail personally doesn't seem advanced especially the clicking you have to do. Seems very outdated.
Can you please send us some links on what kind of "research outside of this forum" you're talking about that leads you to believe they aren't one of the best? Also, I'm guessing your suggestion that these two doctors don't have good hearts/intentions means you have met them before or have some solid proof on that? And the G nail "personally" doesn't seem advanced to you? Which method do you feel is more advanced?
