That Atlanta man is quite dumb but here is the thing:
Public view on LL isn't really the problem. There are many bigger problems than peoples opinion on LL
The cost, complications, the time, proportions etc are the real things we should be worried about. It doesn't matter what some bitçhes think about the surgery.
If you are afraid the neighbors will find out, then just move out. If worried about co-workers, you can just move to a different work facility or even come up with a bunch of excuses like scoliosis, bow leg correction etc and even so, co workers opinions don't matter at all.
Although I have to say, people like that Atlanta man or Shahab mahbobian making the surgery go mainstream is not really good.

Jaki19 I guess your're right but that is still my point. It does still sucks for sure, but it's not abnormally short, because it is something people have seen before walking the streets but still rare. I had a friend who was 158 cm as a guy and literally everyone commented since they were shocked that they had never seen such a short guy before. With a height like that being abnormally short, comments will come from every person you meet almost...

7 inches? That's pretty insane even for quad lengthening. Says he was 5'5 and now 6'.

That's a total of 17.78 cm, probably 18cm to round it off/compensate for the natural curvature of his bones. He has to have gone over the studied safe limit of either bone or probably even to achieve this.

I have to agree w/ Body Builder here, compared to other cosmetic surgeries, CLL is one of those at the top where most people view it negatively, especially in this case where this is too extreme of a goal. It also doesn't help the fact that he promoted LifeLiveTaller, which is one of those clinics who doesn't even care about their patient's well being, hence probably why this guy even was opted a chance to lengthen 7 inches.

It's these situations where this surgery is being ostracized more than it already deserves. It's already a surgery that's difficult already to deal with, and then we have people like these making it look worse.

In anycase, I don't think any social media awareness is going to improve people's opinion on CLL. CLL gets accepted is the time when it also gets less invasive and patients have faster recovery. The main issue is it's difficult, so it's viewed as a surgery for people crazy enough to undertake the pain and a minimum of a year of being basically close to disabled and it doesn't help the fact we have people like that guy who has goals of a true madman. Forget about the costs, if people can find a way to make CLL easier, like being able to artificially grow cartilage and regrowing growth plates, people will view it in a much better light.

For now, don't expect anything, and it's much better that way most people still don't know about it.

LL is a womans worst fear.  Your sh!tty genes being undetected to them.

Its like a man discovering his wife had a giant honking nose before doing rhinoplasty times 10.

And men dont like it either because of jealousy.  They would rather you remain short and not competition.

Nobody will ever like this surgery.

Who cares about children. Getting children as a man is something you should avoid. Here are the reasons why:

1. You don't have any sparetime left, so your life only consists of being a slave for your kids, boss and society.

2. Children always like their mother better than there father, because they're biologically more attached to their mother and mothers usually are more easy going.

3. Your partner usually doesn't have time for your needs anymore like sex, hanging out, food etc.

And if a women thinks that you are stupid because you decided to do something good for your mental health to improve it, shes an idiot who doesn't deserve to be with you.

To each their own.  I absolutely want kids personally.

You pretty much have to give up your entire life then. And I respect you for that.
