Since I'm 100% sure that if I ever get this procedure done I will get it on both segments to look ideally proportioned, it makes me kinda reluctant doing this in the first place since it needs so much time and dedication to recover and return to normal life.
Basically, doing it sequentially is inefficient IMO. I can't imagine doing this at year 1 and then plan to do it again on the other segment at year 5 after I fully recover and get the enough money. It will be mentally terrifying and exhausting to continuously think of getting it done again for years and years.
Doing it in one recovery timeframe, i.e. do the one segment, recover for about 3 months and then do the other segment and recover entirely in about a year (the time it takes to remove IM nails from both segments) is more sensible and efficient. It will take about 1.5 years from my calculations (based on staged quadrilateral patients who lengthened up to 4 inches total) to return to normal activities since no foreign object will be present at that time in your bones and you can break free mentally knowing that you're done with that shiet forever and simply move on and enjoy the life.
Imagining all these hassle makes me kinda lazy and unmotivated of undergoing all these, even if I had millions of dollars right now in my bank account to afford quadrilateral with top surgeons in the world.
But, I might change my mind when I get the enough money and instantly get the urge to go for it, who knows. It's all psychological after all. Motivation requires certain circumstances to be present in one's reality. For example, I don't have a motivation at all to go drift with BMW but the moment I can afford buying one, the motivation to start drifting will shoot up immediately.
The same is true for getting LL perhaps, the moment I get loads of money, the motivation to get it done with one of the top docs with world class aftercare will shoot up immediately too.
