Quote from: GrowTow on July 12, 2023, 08:04:02 PM3 of these are LiveLifeTaller and 1 is WannaBeTaller, how do you rule out AFA just out of association of being in the same country?

Tell me the terrible story about AFA then? I'd love to know

2 of them..justifiable. What do you have against AFA? Nothing, other than it's in Turkey.

I could not find any specific bad experience reviews for Dr. Mustafa Uysal.

Do you know how long he has been working for AFA and when AFA was founded?

3 years and you won't find a bad case because there isn't one. I know that much.

Quote from: jerrytheman on July 12, 2023, 09:55:25 PMJust the fact that they do LON femur in turkey should be a red flag. A one way ticket to a high chance of infection. Not that there aren't good outcomes from it, but we're playing statistics with your legs and potential walking life for years to come.

My first choice was Precice but guess what? My bones were too narrow for Precice. My bone canal is smaller than 8.5mm so even the smallest Precice nail is too big for me. Some people have no choice but to do LON because of this or because of money.

Thank you for your response. It's been 3 years since AFA was established.
I've heard that Dr. Mustafa Gökhan Bilgili and Dr. Metin Kucukkaya are reputed doctors in Turkey, but I don't have detailed information about them.
Prior to selecting AFA, did you consider them as potential options for your surgery?

Dr Kuccukaya is the best Dr in Turkey however Dr Mustafa Gokhan is not good. His patients are also at the same hotel as AFA, he does monorail on tibia (big red flag).

I would say Dr Mustafa Uysal is easily the 2nd best doctor in Turkey and the best at LON, AFA have the best clinic + physio team and are the most ethical, they won't allow you to exceed 0.75 and 1mm lengthening per day and tell you when to stop, no crazy numbers like 9cm.

Monorail on tibia is prone to knockknee and other misalignment, and if it happens, it's difficult to fix, so do you consider it a red flag?
Does AFA perform circle tibial surgery?

The one clinic out of those 3 which is the least worse, according to the experience people have shared on this forum, is most likely AFA. However I would strongly advice to choose another clinic, if you have the money. Dr. Giotikas in Greece is only a tiny bit more costly, but offers way better value and safety for money. Don't believe me, then look up the experiences with him on this forum like 95% if not more are positive, and you can't say the same thing about those 3 clinics espically LiveLifeTaller and WannaBeTaller...

It looks like you just joined the forum, yeah I believe you. There are many threads about these Turkish butchers and their shameless marketing to attract new prey. Read carefully the numerous threads on this forum about Turkey and look for other possibilities where to extend but do not go to Turkey if possible. greetings
