Forearm lengthening is not done for cosmetic purposes because:
1) There are 2 smaller bones (radius and ulna) which are curved.
2) There are too many nerves in the forearm for your hand functionality which make surgery extremely difficult.

The reward would be longer forearms making your arms and reach longer and looking more proportional and bigger.

Lengthening your humerus will have the same effect. Longer arms so you can reach longer. Your Wingspan:Height ratio/Proportions will also be normalized the same.

The good ones don't do it for cosmetic reasons.

Coming from a surgeon himself as to why it is to be avoided for cosmetic reasons:

Quote from: Franz on February 15, 2014, 03:40:07 PMStay away. The forearm has too many fine structures in it and permanent damage can occur and lead to loss of hand function. Not worth it for cosmetic reasons!
Pro and supination are dependent on the curved bones in the forearm. As we can [n]ot lengthen around corners, lengthening will always permanently affect pro and supination.

Do you think it will ever be possible safely without losing function?
