50k for external tibia? This is crazy talk. Just have it done in Russia, shouldn't set you back more than 10 grand.

As for doctors, there are many to choose from. External lengthening is an ancient method, pioneered in Russia by Ilizarov. They had a lot of time to perfect it since then, so pretty much any experienced surgeon will do. Kulesh in st Petersburg, Artemyev and Bagirov in Moscow, Kaplunov and Teterin in Volgograd to name a few.

Salameh in Frankfurt Germany charges 25k Euros.  His fixator (google salamehfix) is more tolerable than the bulky ones used elsewhere whilst still allowing for full load bearing.

Don't mislead people, dr Fahri is not a good doctor who has enough experience on cosmetic lengthening.

lol so many options i'm confused... well salameh is in germany so that's better than going to Russia and facing extremely cold temperatures and visa constraints.
Do you guys figure I could pull off 6cm? how much time in total to regain the ability to walk?
in total I want 13-14cm but for now I want to get tibias over with then i'll save and do femurs at a later date.
I am 174 so 6cm would put me at 180 which is pretty good 182 wearing shoes

According to Morpheus34 on the old forum, time in the fixator is about 1.5 months per cm lengthened.  So at 6cm - which should be doable - about 9months or more depending consolidation rate and development of ballerina foot.
