Quote from: GrowTow on October 15, 2022, 04:48:28 PMYeah I'm in contact with Dr Yurttas, he seems the most reasonable/realistic. No false hope kind of vibe.

I'll see how it goes as I've been a month away from being operated on and then I check the forum again and the Dr I chose has somehow become the worst surgeon of all time.

I feel the same way as well. I was leaning towards Buldu but have backed away from him after hearing about multiple complications from his patients on this forum, twitter, and d.

Unfortunately, if you're doing it in another country, there is an heightened risk. There was always a risk of this LL surgery as it is, but doing it in a foreign country is even worse.

I think Yukksel is a good choice, but I will be taking new decisions with a heavy emphasis on patient research.

Yeah. Feels like a cycle tbh. I see a Dr being praised so I go ahead and decide to go with him. I get it all planned for a few months and then I check back in with the forum and that Dr is no longer deemed good anymore. Happened with an Indian Dr I was going to go to in the past, then Dr Buldu, now let's hope it's not the same with Dr Yurttas.

Quote from: GrowTow on October 15, 2022, 04:41:25 PMI did check. My bad, it was sort of a British sarcastic thing. "Not sure he's in my price range mate" (I know he charges $40k+)

Oh, didn't realize you only wanted internals.
