Have been viewing posts several days. This forum really helps me a lot.

I am a male buddy (60kg), eager to improve my current 170cm to 177cm. After a lot of researches, I finally limit my choice between Betz-Becker and Paley.

I prefer to do LL in my tibia because I assume this could give a better proportion than femur.

Since Betzbone promises to give 7cm LL in tibia and Precice done with Paley only promises to max 5cm, i am a little teetered to conduct the LL with Dr.Becker. And what’s more intriguing me is the full weight bearing of Betzbone described in their website. If that’s true, that’s a huge pro for us to walk soon after surgery, even with crutches, which means though there are some problems, we could dive into routine work and life.

However, I have noticed some negative reviews about Betz-Becker, such as even a sorry death case. I cannot tell whether these reviews are true or false. But these negative reviews indeed cut back several inches of Betz-Beckers’ profile.

I don’t say that the LL history with Paley is perfect, but it seems, just seems, Paley has a better reputation? I doubt that’s because Dr. Paley is more conservative?

Or, I just should be more patient to wait for the reuse of STYDE?

Any advise is sincerely appreciated. Betz-Becker or Paley? Need help

That helps a lot. Your previous post about your LL with Becker is an important factor in my decision.    Betz-Becker or Paley? Need help

What do you mean that theres a higher chance you hit an issue lengthening with Becker. What kind of issue I probably would hit?

Yes. Weight bearing nail is truly a master pro. And, if we use weight bearing nail, we could do more exercises during the whole procedure, which definitely helps to recover better. I think this is the reason why Betzbone could give a little more LL than Precice. Exercise is a key factor in nerve and tendon formation.

As I have said, it may be just a rumor. I also want to check its authenticity.
