Congrats mule

First time I actually was able to compare a mock up with the real thing

The truth is, mockups never depict an accurate after-pic. Our body just works differently than just increasing length of our skin, the radius changes, the fat changes, everything changes and so many things change. Mockups just give an idea. In clothes it becomes almost undetectable. In your after pic, your thighs got thicker so femur lengthening proportions is essentially unnoticeable

Congrats though. Squats are just biomechanically more difficult now, but hopefully it's not too much for a big deal for you

How do you mean femurs parallel to the floor?
Like kneeling position? Or sat with legs stretched out?
Camera angle from the side or above?

I was reading this https://www.ianbacarese-hamilton.co.uk/pdf/taller-booklet-2019-new.pdf

Have there been any cases that led to permanent nerve injury problems or amputation due to bone infection etc?

Hello everyone just a quick update.

Had my nails removed yesterday after 2 years 4 months post op. Would have done quicker but pandemic complicated things. I think was quite difficult to them then out because my bone growth was so strong and completely covered screws etc. I think there was only minimal corrosion on the nail. Was in a fair bit of pain yesterday, could just about walk to the toilet nearby slowly and with the walker, but getting better.
