Well, it has come to the point where I've lost interest in pretty much everything, lack hope and consistency. Know what's more depressing? The fact that even if I go through with Femur Lengthening with Guichet for 6 CM, that'd still put me at 5'8'' given my initial height of 5'5.5''. And if I go through with Tabia for 2 inch after Femur, I'd have to lengthen my humerus too. Now that's just too much. Too much not financially(I can afford all surgeries) but physically. I mean, how much can a body take? Or you think it should be manageable since I don't intend to lengthen any segment in excess of 15%? Your thoughts.

Please talk to a psychologist or your doctor as soon as possible, he can also refer you to a psychologist or a therapist. Just tell him everything you feel is important, and he will take you seriously. There is hope for you, both with and without the option of LL. So please follow my advice.

Hi ShortandStubborn

I see your frustration.  But I think 5'8'' is not too bad.  You can also consider 7 cm or so, which will make you almost 5'8.5, that is very close to average in most of place.  Of course, that still doesn't make you tall but be out of being short. Once you become 5'8 or a little taller, you may have different perspective from now.  So don't be hopeless.  Especially, you have money. What are you waiting for?

you dont need to feel $ad..

Becoming 5'8 will be a huge difference.

Being tall i$ a bonu$. Being $hort i$ a handicap ($ort of). By being average you will ba$ically not face height di$crimination any more. Not being $hort anymore i$ a bigger change than changing from average to tall.

To be more comprihen$ible, tran$forming from $hort to average i$ far bigger change than tran$forming from average to tall
