Beemer, dont do LON on femur !....Are you crazy ?
And in S Koreea the best is Donghoon, but he is very expensive and you wait 1 year in line...
You live in California, so forget about Turkey, Vietnam and Koreea and go to Gdalevitch and do Precice !

i wanted to do some where that takes care of you from the beginning to the end. i think the usa or canada they kind of forget u and let u do your own thing. even renting out a hotel. its all on you. at these other places they have a package that u can take. i wanted to do femur lon because i dont want to be out for 5 months to be able to be on crutches. im looking to do this in 3 months and go home to usa. south korea is my preferred place i just heard of dr ju chung. but heard of bad stories now im going to pass on him.

Man, regarding living conditions i keep saying that for almost 2 years: YES, Turkey is the best... but LL surgeons are not !... and your health is more important.
Just read my diary and i am the most known case about that...

Regarding LON on femur, is a crazy and risky surgery, with atrocious pain and big scars. You should know that already, but i can see your main concern is the cost of surgery...

And Koreea is very expensive in everything. Also is risky, unless you go with Donghoon.

PS - I see down there that you say: "goal 2025-26 precice max femur"... but actually you changed your mind and you want LON now, so is better to delete it...

There's only 3 places you can go to in South Korea for LL other than university hospitals ( I am not sure if they take foreigners but they are technically the cheapest ).

1. Lee Dong Hoon - You already know him and seem you are not interested so I won't go into detail. Besides he doesn't do femur LON.

2. Lim Chang moo - He has the most cases of LL done with 5000 cases and he specializes in LON tibia, he will still do LON femur but he will tell you the risk and discourage it. I think he charges 25k + maybe 10k~15k for 3 months of accommodation/PT. The con is that he only really focuses in the Korean market so he's not really well known internationally and he doesn't have a dedicated English team like Lee does.

Youtube Channel: https://www.youtube.com/@NewBornKi/videos

3. Chung Ju Hwan - This guy is kind of a disrupter in what is traditionally been a duopoly between Lee and Lim. He's foreigner friendly and actively markets towards both Korean/foreign patients and he also had numerous discount events as low as 50% off and even free 3 month accommodation/PT, but he started increasing his prices now that he has a good market exposure + I think he is expanding his medical facility. The Korean LL community says he is a capable/good Doctor but his staff is pretty hit or miss, I would say you should ignore the Japanese guy that spams about him everyday because according to Korean patients that was with him ( yeah he's famous even in Korean forums ) he was a bit of a nutcase lol - would scream at even the slightest inconvenience.

I don't know who that Korean patient is, nor can I imagine how you met him, because that patient is only a figment of your imagination. During most of my stay in South Korea, I spent my time at a hotel with my father. There was no Korean patient with me.

This post was probably written by Robin, an interpreter at the hospital. She posted my personal information in various places, disregarding her duty of confidentiality.
Also, you should not go to Hospital 3.
Nearly 10 Japanese patients, among others, developed osteomyelitis at this hospital within just six months, and two of them have filed lawsuits. Despite recent significant price hikes, it is not worth visiting. Juwan has falsified his credentials, advertising false experience in limb lengthening despite having none, and has been fined in South Korea for violating medical laws.
can anyone recommend a doctor in south korea?
