I shifted to sleeping on my side 2 nights ago and a loud popping sound occurred in my femur, which caused soreness and slight pain throughout the day. Walking and limb lengthening are unaffected, but occasionally twisting my right leg results in a smaller popping sound with less pain. The leg is generally sore, specifically where the osteotomy was performed. I suspect a potential callus fracture where the bone is forming, despite the doctor’s assistant attributing it to the IT band, which I disagree with due to the pain location within the leg.
