Hey guys, long time lurker, just registered today.
I'm a 5'9 guy who wants to do this surgery. Found out about this stuff when i was 18 and have always since childhood wanted to be classified as "tall" for various reasons. I've been working my ass off and have alot of money, business is really kicking off (not gonna brag but the surgery money is a non-issue at this point).
One month ago i have been diagnosed with Diabetes type 2. Its not that bad , i just replace all the sugar with Stevia. But the real bummer is that i'm worried this means i have to throw away my dream of LL out the window.
You guys' thoughts on this? And any real life examples of guys with type 2 diabetes who did this surgery successfully?

I think for people between 5'8 5'9 or more we all have similar reasons. It is certainly not for the sport, we know but probably for aesthetics, charisma (and in this sense seduction, credibility with other men, etc)
Well if i'm going to be honest, i have never had an issue with girls before. Though to be blunt the game can be played easier if i am taller. Though that's not really my main reason for getting as i haven't had issues with girls for the most part.
Obviously its everything to do with your environment. In my case my dad is 6ft, bro 6ft1 cousins all 6'2-6'4+, friends usually 6ft+. I just want to hit that 6-6'1 height for that reason as i'll be inline with my tall family and friends. Also the additional benefits of being tall is not open to dispute. We all know its simply better.
But yeah, just wanted to know if its possible to do this surgery with Type 2 Diabetes
I am prepared to consult with a doctor, really don't want to go to America though, so far away. But i should consult just for diabetes advice or actual surgery. Paley seems to be THE most expensive doctor which is a pain in the ass. I really don't like the idea of squandering 6 figures, was looking at 40-60k to be honest
