Can I achieve full dorsiflexion of the ankle with Precice on the tibia during or after the consolidation stage? I am currently in the consolidation stage, but I am finding it difficult to reach full dorsiflexion (bending the ankle towards me as much as possible). Will this improve with time, or is full dorsiflexion only possible after the removal of the Precice nail, or is it not possible at all?

Have you undergone tibial lengthening? If yes, how is the mobility of your ankle?

Your extension should get better daily by engaging in stretching exercises and walking. The initial 3 months are crucial once you cease lengthening. I underwent tibia LL and am now in the consolidation phase. I have witnessed individuals with significant ballerina feet returning to normal within a few weeks. Without receiving physiotherapy and performing appropriate stretching routines, the progress will not be as effective.

Regarding your precise inquiry, I believe attaining complete dorsiflexion during consolidation may not be feasible; however, you may approach it when you can walk correctly and bear your full weight on your ankles all day long.

What stretching are you currently engaged in?
Are you able to perform standing calf stretches? Is the utilization of a slant board also possible for you?
