Hey guys my doctor is going to make me wear a cast for 4 weeks after external TSF frame removal. Was wondering if this was usual?

Thanks

Quote from: KiloKAHN on June 14, 2022, 09:01:25 PMIt's common after external lengthening to have a cast or brace on the legs for about a month after frame removal. I was given leg braces to wear for about the same amount of time after frame removal as well http://www.limblengtheningforum.com/index.php?topic=634.msg37519#msg37519

Oh okkk that makes sense I was surprised because I read people say you can walk right after the surgery, but I’m guessing it won’t be easy to walk around with a cast
