Clavicle Lengthening - Still a complete mystery

This is my first post, apologies if it's on the wrong board.

I've been looking into clavicle lengthening & while there are a few threads on this forum, its all a load of crap with no real substance.
Has anyone actually contacted Dr. Leif Rogers or Eppley or whoever else claims to do this procedure and asked for any real information such as price etc?
Why is there such a high degree of disagreement regarding this procedures safety?
