Going to India next September (2015) and want to find a partner(s) to go with. Having a partner seems to have many benefits. We will be more confident and encouraged to go through with the surgery, potentially lower accommodations, less loneliness etc. I am currently set on Dr. Mangal Parihar in Mumbai. Let's get taller!

I am simply a guy that wants to become taller. Sexual preference shouldn't matter. This is a serious forum with members that support each other

Completely inappropriate and uncalled for...

I am also interested in India though next year maybe too soon for me, partnering up with someone is a great idea, particularly if you're planning on doing externals only and staying there throughout the whole process. 10 months+ alone is not something Im looking forward to which was my original plan after I do femurs first lol

Hey TRS, how bad is the scarring from LATP? Has Dr Birkholtz said anything about scarring regarding LATP?
I was also thinking about LATP but worry about the extreme scarring..

Scarring is about 4cm from the plate insertion.
Dr.Birkholtz gave me two options:either full externals or plating because of my 8 degrees varus deformity on my tibias. He advised against LON because of the deformity.
He would use the hexapod system and then plate after distraction and alignment correction.

I am currently 171cm and will go for a 6.5cm gain. I have emailed Dr Parihar and he
Has told me he does not have a limit on how many patients he does a year (it looked like he only did 1 or 2/ year from his questionnaire thing)
I am 22 and figure 23 is pretty much the perfect age to get this procedure done. (More return on investment) I will be doing the external method.
