We are two journalists from the Norwegian newspaper Aftenposten, currently working on a story about limb lengthening surgery.

Are you planning to have this surgery? Then we would be very interested to hear about your experiences.  We would like to hear about what challenges you have had with your height, and why you consider treatment.

You can be anonymous, of course.

We believe that such an article will be of help to many others in the same situation and put on the agenda a social problem that many people have little knowledge about.

Best regards
Pål Vegard and Anette

Without knowing anything about you, your newspaper or any research you might have done I can probably imaging what the artivle is going to be like. Something along the lines of 'Yes short men face some issues, but here is a famous musician/artist/politician who is short and popular, so it's actually not a big deal'.

Kindly piss off.

Hi, this isn't exactly what the article is meant to cover, nor is it what we're looking for. We're seeking individuals who have experience with limb lengthening surgeries and are considering undergoing the procedure.

We've noticed that there are many very interesting discussions about this in this forum, and we aim to explore it from a more intriguing perspective. For this, it is essential for us to speak with those directly involved. We have already spoken with a few individuals who, fortunately, take our inquiry seriously. We hope more will get in touch with us.
