I am considering doing femur LL with Paley, but I live in Asia. I wonder if going to USA just to do a consultation is worth it or should I just virtually consult and only go to USA for the surgery itself. Is consultation worth spending ~2 days worth of time on the plane?

( To note, money isn’t that much of a problem for me. My main concern is just the amount of time and effort I’d have to spend just to do a consultation. )

Just schedule the surgery and do the virtual consultation.

I’ve heard that the in-person consultation offers a lot of tests and other things that are good to know pre-surgery. Are you familiar with what specifically I will miss out on should I choose a virtual consultation instead?
