It would depend on which country you want to go to. I would probably stay away from China, South Korea and Italy just to be on the safe side lol.

This is the worst moment to do it now.
There is an epidemic all over Europe, right now.
The following days will show the hole dimension.

There have been better times, yeah, but the chance of getting it is still very low.
Best to wait and see whether spring and summer stop the spread of it though.

I am scheduled to have LL surgery in LA this Summer. For now, I'm just waiting to see how the next few weeks unfold before contacting surgeon to see if I should or can reschedule to early 2021. Without financial penalties (as I don't have surplus $$ ) hopefully as it not involves surgery fees but flights, accommodation, aide, which are already booked and paid for. I guess it will depend on how slammed hospital and staff are for the surgery side of things, plus in general how CA/LA response ramps up to deal with this pandemic. I am hoping elective surgeries get the go ahead after the oncoming swell of Spring. Risk seems to be low for young/healthy people. Anyone else got LL surgery lined up in the States and if so what are your thoughts/ideas? I know international travel is restricted for now, only talk at this stage for restricting domestic air travel.

Better to just postpone it mate. LL is quite stressful in itself. I wouldn't want to be stressed about other things like whether the aide washed their hands or running out of supplies. I mean in all probability, you will be fine, but it might hurt your lengthening goals if you have to get tested for the virus or be quarantined.

Just curious to know, why did you choose the LA doctor and not the Nevada one? Feel free to PM me if you like to keep it private. Thanks coronavirus and surgery

Yeah, I'd say postpone it too. It doesn't matter much on which country you're doing it as it seems it's just a matter of time until the virus gets there too, which is usually followed by everyone being locked into there homes etc.

I agree with the others, rescheduling it would probably be best. Touch base with Dr. M and let him know your concerns he will work with you

I've been reading your posts, just curious to know, are you Dr. M patient? Or do you know him through a consultation?
