Hi All,

My name is David Boucher 26 years old man who lives in London.I am currently working as a Businessman and Professional Bodybuilder. My main concern is that to add couple of inches to my height.

(Current height = 165 cm and weight = 78 kg).

Willing to visit India on end of next year (2017) to perform a Limb lengthening surgery by Dr.Dr Mangal Parihar and i have understanding about procedure and risk and complications by reading lots of post from this forum.

I like to know that i am overweight due to professional bodybuilding carrier, my Hamstrings and  Quadriceps are muscular and willing to perform a femur lengthening. Is that possible to do such a surgery on this kind of situation?

Thank You.

Big muscles and strong tendons really get pissed off when lengthening. My calves were 18" and my thighs 27.5". Be prepared to lose a LOT of muscle during this procedure I lost easily 70% of what I had built and have lost easily 50-60% of my strength in upper body and around 80% in legs.

Your body weight is fine you are not that heavy these frames can take a fair weight. I was 83jgs when I did mine I had burnt off 20kgs of muscle prior to this as I knew weight on frames may be a factor, I performed sprints and ate twice a day for about 2 months. I lost a lot of muscle doing this which I regret now but at the time was consumed by the idea of becoming taller
