What if someone like an investigator snoop my bank accounts or something. Is there any way to do the surgery anonymously?

For a private investigator to access your bank account information, they would need a court order or your permission even if they located your account. So your bank transactions are pretty safe and confidential with your regular bank account. Alternatively, you could set up an entity such as a Trust or LLC (Limited Liability Company) and keep / withdraw / transfer your money from here to pay for LL. This would usually be managed by an attorney though and is more cost and time consuming. Or, use a prepaid credit/debit card but these may have cash amount limitations.

Why the concern?

Why so paranoid?  Could they find out about this years down the line?

But no, your payment won't literally come up as 'limb lengthening' in your bank statement. It would come up as a payment to the hospital or the Dr you go to.

So if you think someone may find out, you could just say it was a payment to the hospital for a hip replacement or anything like that

get a new bank once you recover? you can easily close a debit account with no problems. Keep the credit card open so you don't mess up your credit, but the debit account can be closed without any problems

Lol is your future/current wife really going to be that nosey?

Also I think you vastly overestimate how much people will care.
