Hi,

I am a 20 year old male from Portugal and my current height is 170cm. I'm thinking about doing cross lenghtening with Dr. Kulesh next year. My goal is to lenghten at least 4cm on both tybias and femur. Does anyone have sugestions or opinions?

Thank you for everything.

For suggestions: do some reading on external femurs and cross-lengthening diaries.

Also, check this study out since you plan on doing cross-lengthening.

Thank you,
Basically I should lengthen more femur and less tybia. That way I can keed the 0.8 ratio and the probability of developing arthritis will be smaller. I will discuss how much I should lenghten when I have a consultation with Dr. Kulesh or Dr. Solomin.

Hi Montenegro. Thanks for very detaile dairy. From what I found here so far, I think these two doctors are the bests in russia. I am saving money for surgery and consider them for my first option. We will appreciate if you inform us, at what centimiter you need ATL surgery on your tibia. Prof Catagney belives after 4 cm, 90% of the patients need it. I will follow your dairy carefully.
