Hey there, I am currently planning my surgery for femurs 7-8cm for End of Q1/25. I am currently still thinking which Doctor would be the best for me, I visited Dr. Becker, Dr. Giotikas as well as Dr. Birkholz (via Zoom) I had all doctors a good expression and I think all of those 3 will bring me similar results - also all 3 of them are in Budget.

Currently Dr. Becker is still my Nr. 1 choice - since the clinic is just 2 hours away from me, as well as the full wheigt nail which will help me I think with the recovery as well as preventing fat embolism - due that I am able to walk a little after the 1-2 days after surgery. I heard only good things about Dr. Becker - I also like that he had strict protocols much more than Dr. Betz with even an App where you can see all the stretching exercises and see your status. I was a little bit concerned because he came as an hair specialist but since 3-4 years he is just doing limb lengthening for 100% and doing 100 surgeries now per year. So I think he has enough experience since he is just doing tibia or femurs operation, if I am comparing that to an doctor at a hospital who is doing different stuff and doing much more difficult operations:)

What do you think guys think?

Are there any current or former Dr. Becker patients I can talk to? Current & Ex Dr.Becker Patients here? Which Doctor would you choose?

You're not asking for feedback, you're asking to talk to people that agree with the decision you already made. Betz is for people that seek convenience above all else.

I actually ask for both - I haven't made my decision yet for 100% yet - thats why I wanted to ask if I can speak to current patients or ex patients Current & Ex Dr.Becker Patients here? Which Doctor would you choose? especially who did the surgery with Dr. Becker since he is doing them now alone

has Dr becker had any fatal cases? I heard about one fatal case in greece

Dr Becker has done about 200-300 cases but no fatal cases would be impressive

I haven heard about any cases under him - he said in the consultation he had never embolism so far - not sure if's 100% true but that what he said to me - the other question would be of course if that case happens if he can deal with it since it might be also his first experience but think he has a very strict protocol for that case
