One thing I don't recommend? Psychiatrist/psychologist
They don't help in anything.
People don't care about your past. They just see and realize you in that very moment. It's the same with all cosmetic surgeries whether it's teeth or hair.
Height is not everything in life. I have many short friends that have almost 30x the money that I make in a single year. I recommend going to a therapist before you try this surgery. Even my friend who is only doing this to get into modeling took around 3 months of therapy before we got told that he isn't insane or paranoid. Just want to achieve his long time dream of modeling as his job.
But doing height surgery and thinking that you will become a completely different person is wrong. I have met many former patients while researching and none of them have really become completely different. They do get treated differently but it does not affect the relationship with the people they really know.
Unless you are below 5'3, you are not getting your life ruined by height. And this is coming from a person who once lived in one of the most heightism countries in the world(korea and china).
They stop caring about height and more about how you take care of yourself and how much you earn after your 20/early 30's.

Epikness - Great words. You are right, my friend. I have said it once and I'll say it again..... Height doesn't make the man. The man makes the height. Before my surgery, I was 5' 1.25" and I have it all. Great looks, Great Business, Great woman, Great dating life, Money, Car, Comfort, Friends, Family..and more! I have it all and I'm short. Height may stop some woman from wanting to go out with you (FORGET THEM) and it may even make a hiring manager hesitant for a few moments (HIS LOSS) ; but HEIGHT cannot stop the amount of LOVE and CARE that you give to yourself. Love yourself and take care of yourself and I promise you that you will be GREAT. I'm not just giving fake lip service. I'm living proof. I encourage anyone to private message me just to talk about this. I'm going to get my private chat name setup to chat.
You are not defined by your height! Your height is defined by you! Take care guys! My next update for my diary is coming shortly.
I'm glad you agree InFullStyrde! Too many people think that this surgery will make them get 1million$ or women groveling. It is certainly a confident booster and at a certain height, may actually open up more options for women or(rarely) jobs. But it will not truly change you as a being. The change itself will be very miniscule compared to your fantasy. I only hope that I can help some people change their mind.
On that note, I'll be sure to read your soon-to-come diary, InFullStryde! If you don't mind, I hope that you can answer some of my questions haha.
I hope you become fully restored and a NBA player hehe
Quote from: shortguy4cll on February 06, 2019, 10:47:11 AMI feel really depressed because of my height. My appearance has totally ruined my life. It makes it so hard to have people respect me and treat me fairly. People think I'm inferior because of my height. It's hard to keep friends and meet people from the opposite sxx. It's just a lose situation
Sometimes I wonder how much doing call will change my life. I mean I lived all this long and have records that I was short. Is height really going to get me the dream life and respect that I wznt?
Same pinch. i have the problem as you feel

Quote from: TheMagicalBlueEye on February 06, 2019, 11:55:26 PMO brother, I have the same exact feeling and outlook on people as you but to some degree I doubt if it's 100% caused by height solely. I'm 176 here in Europe but I'm also not treated fairly in many social situations and women perceive me as a weakling and weirdo. There must by other qualities that trigger this kind of situations.
I'm writing this message on a influence of Ambien for I want to sleep rather peacefully but I was prompted to write it anyway after thought race in my head. It's really hard to write something when every letter is waiving and bedning and whole text seem to dance
btw you've got a very sad set of emojis compared to other sites.
lol you at 176 talking to someone who's 5'2" like you can resonate. You have NO IDEA what being 5'2" is like. You're in two different worlds.

Ouch, it never even began bro. So sorry. Reroll and try again.
The reality is ..I work from a different mind frame than most of humanity. I never really judge and treat people based on appearance. I treat people how they treat me and how I should be treated. And when I was growing up it used to be like that. Now in the past decade it isnt like that all. We are living in a eugenics world. It means people have to prove they deserve to be treated fairly. Equality is not even right its a privelege. Meaning by a persons genetic trait ANd action we must quality to be treated equally. It has turned into a reward and punishment game. And its not bad if you are prepared for this but if you are unprepared then it will destroy you. There is no compassion or mercy in this world. Its just condemnation. You do ONE mistake, have ONE flaw physical or mental..then everyone judges you...and all of a sudden people think oh that person doesnt DESERVE to be treated faily. This is how our world works now. We must be perfect or look perfect to fit in. ..or else get eliminated in society.
I'm 5'3ish so I know how you feel. I also agree the people 5'7 are in a totally different world. Everyone wants to be taller, but in no way are men 5'7 discriminated or looked down at anywhere close to the level us abnormally short guys are.
I've talked about this before, but I don't think LL "fixes" all of the cosmetic problems associated with being abnormally short. Your hands are (more than likely) very small, your arms are shorter, your feet are smaller, etc. These things will not go unnoticed with a romantic partner. They can probably be much more forgiven than your height, but nonetheless it should be something to realize before getting LL.
I just hope aliens abduct me and use their 2 billion year old technological advancements to turn me into a tall man
