Due to the increasing number of shills, it would be better for diaries to have a proof that its one doing the surgery? A simple photo of the legs with the LL forum username or website wouldnt really be that intrusive to privacy as no identifiable part of the individual is revealed.

Agreed in principle but it's important for this forum to be as anonymous as possible. LL patients are very reluctant to share anything. That requirement may keep legit diaries off the site.
You just have to take what you get and use your own judgment.

I agree mate, you are so right. No harm to privacy. Instead of many fake and false information, one little but true information is enough.
