As topic, just want to understand how feasible it is to handle LL on your own in a foreign place.

Hello!

I finished LL on my right femur 3 weeks ago.
I never went to really understand how is the pain for this kind of operation.
On my own experience, i must say it has been really hard, not the level of the pain, but to have this pain over so much time (if u do two legs separetly, it will take almost a year). You will dependent of people to help you buy food, to bring you at work. I personally hide this operation to everyone and it's really hard. The first thing waking up every morning is:"when this   is gonna end...?"...
Manage the operation with a work (even if you work in a office) is hard. Really hard.
Anyway, if you have any questions, do not hesitate

Catherine Zeta-Jones had a good discussion of this, its a good question to consider how feasible it is to do it alone
