Disable users from changing their display name

Currently we can change our usernames at any time in the Account Settings screen. While convenient, it also invites impersonation and mockery from unscrupulous users.


Could we disable this feature? Here are instructions.

I find you very annoying. If you have failed to realize by know, unless something major happens the mods don't do anything.

Your feelings aside, I would have thought that you'd be in support of this idea since you've been a victim of impersonation. I'm offering a solution to the root cause in addition to banning the offending accounts like you suggested (which is kind of funny considering what you said here).
