Hello everyone, thanks for the great forum! I just have a few questions and hope someone can clarify things for me.
My current height is 165 cm.
I'm aiming to gain 8 cm. Is this still considered a safe range? I believe so, and I’m okay with it taking 3–5 years. But will I be able to return to 99% of my previous performance after recovery?
I currently go to the gym 6 days a week and plan to get the surgery in the next 3 years. Will training legs and building leg strength help with the surgery or recovery, or is there no connection?
What’s the worst-case scenario (besides being crippled, of course)? Will I still be able to walk and squat afterward?

First of all, I want to say that you are an inspiring and persistent person, and the way you told your story was great. I'm really sad that the ending wasn't the best, but I’m sure you can make corrections, and there’s still hope based on the pictures—it’s not the end of the road.
But you need to be more mindful when choosing a doctor. A doctor who has worked twice in a year doesn't seem like the best choice.
As for my case, I honestly think 8 cm is enough for a simple reason: I don't want to be tall at all. I just want to be average height, nothing more, nothing less.
