I can't verify this but some people are claiming becker is one of the few surgeons using an electric bone saw which generates heat and apparently affects bone and non union?

I'm skeptical of that,  does anyone know ?

I have watched Dr Donghoon Lee YouTube video. He said he never use electric bone saw because it may burn cells and cause non union. He claimed that it is 0% non union case in his hospital. I don’t know it is true or not regarding Dr Becker uses electric bone saw. I wonder if there are other LL surgeons who use electric bone saw too. Anyone knows?

Betz used to use an electric bone saw for tibiae. Since Becker is his pupil he uses it probably too. The tibia isn't round like the femur that's why it can't be cut with the inner manual saw.

My advice to you is to do absolutely everything you can not to think about the surgery, not to research anything, and even take a break from the forum. Come back after the surgery. You're just driving yourself crazy for no reason.
