I don't think it will greatly increase the risk. Fat people also have a much bigger body and more tissue to supply with blood, and they don't all have heart attacks. I think it would only increase the risk by a very miniscule factor.

No its not, before the surgery as i know you want to go to Guichet, he will treat you like a car and check everything when he see you qualified he will perform the surgery on you. Just make sure you're qualified and that all, no evidence of heart problems and no study either. Just worry about the extra budget and complications.
