Does tightness and stiffness in legs ever go away after recovery?

As title. Does muscle tightness and stiffness ever go away after a year or 2 healing from the surgery? Or do you have to stretch for the rest of your life?

It goes away almost 100%.

i wonder how long does it take for it to go away. its been 2.5 months and my knee tightness is alot but still straight.
