Probably the post op and recovery period of femurs won't be as hard because I'll be done with tibias (except for the frames). Probably It'll be a bit uncomfortable, but I guess it wont affect my recovery, mobility or something like that.
So do you think taking the two extra months is a good option? I mean I want to finish with all of this as soon as I can and two months may seem like a short period of time, but trust me, it isn't. Anyway, it all depends on what you feel more okay about.
Dr Giotikas is my best option rn because I don't trust Pilli or the other doctors and I don't have the money for Paley, so...
I'm 161 cm and I was going to lengthen the same as you (5 femur + 4 tibias). I was also confused too I first thought you wanted to get only 5cm between both.
Yea people seem to say that the frames are much more comfortable when the lengthenings done, especially those that don't do large amounts but idk how it would feel honestly. It would defintely be easier/better without the frames but you have to see if it's worth it to you for the 2 months. At the end of the day I think you would probably end with good results either way, but then again maybe your one of the unlucky ones whos body doesnt respond well to being stretched. Unfortable a lot of this stuff isn't black and white and there's a lot of risk/reward ratios to figure out. I'm going to see if I can find a quadrilateral diary that used precice femurs and external tibias.
Trust me, I know what you mean about the 2 months though, it is going to be much easier to explain why I took 6 months off vs why I took 8 months off. It definetely makes me consider this option.
