Also, a little bit about pain: I'd say first 3 weeks pain/stiffness was highest at night and sometimes in the morning, especially if I didn't sleep.
Then week 3 to about 5, the discomfort started to decrease quite noticeably, still sometimes at night causing inability to sleep.
After that, hardly any pain except for some after exercise: left knee, upper flutes area, etc
Now I'm sleeping so well although legs are still heavy at night.

is that £55K because it's in london, because the doctors page implies its around £30k.

Have you made sure of the Euro price vs. Price in pounds? I mean, it could be possible that there is a cost difference between having the surgery in London vs. Milan, as a certain portion of the fees cover hospitalization costs, and this is specific to each city. You would need to ask someone who's lengthened with Dr. guichet in Milan recently about that! I think the price is universal though.

yes it says here

http://www.limblengtheningforum.com/index.php?topic=131.0

Cost is 44000 Euros + Housing and postop training (5000 Euros approx. per month, with training in a World Excellence Center of the FIFA).

not sure if your £55K included accomodation.
