Hi guys.

I'm saad.  I have fitbone in my femur . This is my first topic in this fourm.

I have heard the electronic muscle stimulator like " compex " is boosting the heal . but I don't know if it's ok to use it during the lengthening  period ?

Have anyone  had an experience with this subject or know anythig about it , please share it with us .

I don't know if it's the same but in this German doctor's newspaper from 2017 it says that ultrasound treatment doesn't help with bone healing.

I used an Exogen 4000+ ultrasound bone healing system, which sends electropulses through your bones for 20 minutes a day, for 2 months.

I had almost exactly no change to my bones.

Ah, sorry I thought you meant something else.

I have heard from my doctor that it will help the muscle build, but as for specifically helping the bone grow, it won't do much. Aside from flushing new blood/nutrients to that area, but bone building relies on a lot more than that. It specifically helps actuate the muscles which will help you in the long run for rehab and strength. But don't expect drastic results.

There isn't anything this thing can do that a good walk can't.

Any electric devices for internal nails such as fitbones, Precice/Stryde need to be carefully used, because they may interfere with nail function.  Perhaps after lengthening, it can be used.  Better to ask Drs.
