Suppose that the tibia is extended by 6 cm by the LON method. What is the standard for the extension period in that case? The doctor I am currently talking about by email answered 2.5 months to 3 months. I feel that 2.5 months is a little early. As I am Asian, it will be difficult to increase the daily extension to that level. I ask for your advice.

Depends on each patient. 4-5 months is a safe time for LON external fixtator. And around 3-4 months to be able to walk again. I recommend about a year of free time for LON/LATN.
