External tibia frame removal

When the Ilizarove circular frames is removed after pure external method for 5 cm tibia lengthening, do they then remove the frames from both legs at the same time or do they first remove one frame from one leg and then some months later they remove the second frame?

if u are doing the method with the nails inside the tibia then they remove the frames on 2nd surgery. then ur 3rd surgery remove the nails inside. they are doing ilizarov with frames only and no nails but u would be having the frames on for like 7 months until fully healed. alot of people dont prefer this method but some are still doing it.
