Day 76: Started walking with walker plus extra assistance Harry was holding one of my arm, first few steps were hard psychologically i kept looking down to see where am stepping than looking forward, couldn't lift and move walker for first few steps Harry had to assist that, later got hold of it and could slide forward the walker and made few steps wasn't completely an independent walk so couldn't record it.
It was an interesting feeling to start walking again after some 2.5 months.
Started walking today with walker this time without assistance from Harry

Day 79: Knee pain fading away isn't as bad as it use to be, been doing all the exercises Harry(PT) taught, also in past I use to be in bed most of the time as it gets really cold in Delhi as low as 4°C and central heating isn't that common in India, I got electric heater in room but been lazy and use to work lying down on bed most of the time. I changed this from last couple of days, seems it also had some help.
I use to workout before LL so my thighs and calves were bit toned, with LL calves got too thin and thighs got loose as an old person, probably because lack of movement left knee had always been bit weak, especially in last days with frames I could see muscles on knee had atrophied quiet a lot.
I increased my diet from last week with more protein and calories, my knees don't look that skinny and bad as they were in last days with frame, they look normal as they use to before, calves have improved a bit and thighs going to take sometime I would think, I should have to hit gym for thighs to be back as they were.
Day 81: Last day of the year, hope I could go out and be independent but it has to do next new year I guess.
I started walking bit more distance like 80 to 100 meters, joints(knee and feet) are loosing up from past but they have to be bit more, little ballerina i had in right leg is gone hope to start crutches soon by next week.
Hi nomad.
Congratulations on your journey. I'm you will pass this phase successfully.
I'm itching to know why 5cm, why not 6 or 6.5cm since I believe tibias are safe till 6.5cm.
I am happy with just 5cm and not to make anymore obvious for my family and friends, also I wanted to be independent sooner with recovery, seems 5cm is best for that
Congratulations man , you start walk , Keep us update.
