Fake cheap implants

Guys and gals, beware. Some people working in Clinica Diagonal told one patient there were surgeons using fake cheap implants they got in the black market. I advise those patients with cases of nail failure to investigate if they had cheap fake versions of Fitbone implants. Nobody mentioned Monegal's name but apparently Clinica Diagonal allowed this to happen in their ORs. This clinic isn't serious

CLL market is not that big
I think making fake nails would cost too much
I wonder maybe they meant rebuild nails or even recycled nails
That would be really scary

The direct production cost of IM nails is very low. Implant steel, even good quality is lower than 100Euro per kg. Selling prices for these nails are in the realm of 7-12 kEuro per piece.

If it is true, how could we make sure that we use the new and true Precice nail for now many Doctors around the world provide Precice nail.
And maybe during the surgery we are sleeping and could not see the nail.

I was thinking about the mechanical lengthening nails
Do you think even mechanical nails can be built that cheaply?
If so that is just soooo scary
