Hello Gentlemen,
Have any of you who have done femurs use any muscle relaxers during your lengthening phase? I will be at that 5-6 CM point before I know it, and will likely be tight in the quads and hamstrings. I will be doing PT 5 times per week but it may not be enough to avoid bent knee and the tightness, I want to make sure I push through to 7.6 CM.
Did any of you use muscle relaxers to help push through the final phase of consolidation? My Dr. gave me 5MG Flexeril the first week after surgery, as I was having painful spasms in my left left. When the spasms went away I stopped taking the flexeril. I don't know that they helped much though. Any of you have any experience with muscle relaxers?
Thank you.
