Im now employed in a job such that I can save probably 40k/yr.  I already have 14k saved up so i'm expecting to do LL in 2027, which is when I will be able to do FMLA. My plan is with Dr. Assayag

How far in advance do I have to see the Dr. to schedule my surgery?

Also, anyone who's gone from 165 to 173 or similar is it worth this long wait and money? Im really excited but i'm worried it won't actually change much/ won't be enough to make me feel average. Im gonna do it no matter what cause it's untenable for me currently but I wonder if it's really all that.
