Lang:
I believe no one does cosmetic limb lengthening in toronto. Your closest bet in Canada would be marie gdalevitch in montreal.

Quote from: Michael J. Assayag, MD on July 04, 2020, 06:48:01 PMI had the pleasure to Meet Dr. Mangal Parihar last year when I was codirecting the first Pune Deformity Course. His cases are very complex and impressive and he is technically very thorough.
Dr. Milind Chaudhary has also one of the most pristine reputation and he is technically excellent. We get to meet yearly at the Baltimore Limb Deformity Course and ASAMI meetings.
We were cofaculty in a webinar attended by 4300 worldwide surgeons today and he presented 2 very impressive cases.
hope this helps!
Hello, Michael. By any chance, would you know if Dr. Milind Chaudhary takes CLL patients? I tried looking him up, but unfortunately couldn’t find a website.

He used to take cosmetic patients and there was a diary on the old forum. Unless something happened for him to change his mind about taking cosmetic cases, he should still offer it. His clinic is located in Akola, India, which is about 300 miles away from Mumbai.
Here is his website: https://ilizarov.org
Dr Parihar uploaded a lecture on external fixation where you can see Dr Chaudhary and then Dr Parihar speaking about leg lengthening. Although not in the cosmetic sense, you'll at least be able to put a face to the name for Dr Chaudhary.
Recently had an email consultation with Dr Milind Chaudhary. He said he is very selective about his cosmetic LIMB LENGTHENING patients and would accept only after having an in person consultation and examining the scanogram x rays

Thank you, KiloKhan! I just finished reading your diary and it’s one of the main reasons I’m taking an aim at India🙌🏼 Mind I ask, why didn’t you consider Dr. Chaudhary as one of your options back then? His record is very impressive from what I just read.

Thank you, I appreciate the information! Can’t expect less from, what it seems, a highly competent doctor👏🏼

At the time, the only diary with Dr Chaudhary was from a patient who didn't have a good experience or didn't like the living conditions in Akola. With that, plus having to go an extra 300 miles out of the way just to consult, I ultimately decided not to go for it. However, after my consultation with Dr Parihar at his clinic and how my impression of the situation there was far more positive than another prospective patient who made it seem like you couldn't pay him to get operated there, it made me wonder how bad the living situation was in Akola in the first place. In retrospect, I wish I could have consulted with Dr Chaudhary, but I still think I would have chosen Dr Parihar in the end as his personality made me really comfortable, plus I saw some patients with incredibly difficult looking deformities being treated and became confident that he was an expert in his field.
Dr Parihar has had maybe 17(?) cosmetic patients since he started in the early 90's, so there aren't many diaries to choose from here, but he's done thousands of procedures fixing deformities or people who have had their limbs mangled from bombs. You can find a lot of reviews about him on Practo: https://www.practo.com/mumbai/doctor/mangal-parihar-orthopedist
Dr Chaudhary seems to have good reviews as well if the google ratings are any indication.
