HI guys

I'm wondering what people's opinions are of the fitbone device now?

How does it compare to the stryde and precice nails

Currently, i've only accept to a specialist using the fitbone and i'm not too familiar with this device.

Far as I know it has no weight bearing

Fitbone is a joke compared to stryde.
Also, except from not weight bearing, it is unreliable too. Many fitbones stopped working in Monegal's cases etc.

I wouldn't use any other internal nail except from stryde.
But even of I did, fitbone would be my last choice.

Thanks for the reply. Precice is currently not available in the uk and it's unknown when it will be next.
What would be the best second choice nail if precice and stryde are not available?

The old nails all had issues which is why they were replaced.  I'm guessing you don't have many options if you're using government healthcare.  Maybe they'll have ISKD which isn't much better.

But keep in mind they can all bear some weight, so if you're light it will probably be OK, and they don't all break, which is why they were approved and used in the first place.

The precice and stryde nails have been pulled from the market in the uk so there's not many options.

How would the fitbone compare with the betzbone?

Do you know why they have been pulled from the UK market? That’s quite interesting but also disappointing if that’s the case.
