Hi all,
This may sound like a rookie question, but I have some basic concerns involving logistics post-surgery I was hoping LL-ers who are going through this process could clarify (these are all assuming you don't have family/friends helping you):
(1) I've seen diaries talking about getting food delivered from restaurants to their hotel/home. I know after surgery it's difficult to even walk indoors, let alone walk outside to pick up food. How do you guys manage to pick up your food (if for example it was left at your door)? Do you get food delivered to your room? Do you use a grabber/reacher when it's left outside?
(2) How do you manage transfers to / from ubers and then the walk to the PT / hospital during the first few weeks? Does a caretaker need to transport you every single day?
(3) At what point after surgery would you say you've been comfortable getting from your hotel/home to the PT center by yourself (with no caretaker)?
Thanks all and hope to get some insights.
