I am looking at either Paley in FL or Mahoubian in LA. Problem is, I am a single male with family that do not live here.
I would like to hear any experiences of people who have went it alone. Do you have to pay extra for rehab facilities / care? Or are there enough resources to be able to go at it alone?

I truly believe this is going to be one of the toughest both mentally and physically things I will do in my life lol.

Why not assayag in Baltimore, cheaper area and more respected than mahboubian. I think you can stay at the HP house with assayag.

also I'm almost sure LL suffering is trivial compared to being short, but that depends how short you are

I did 8cm with precice and it went smooth

First couple weeks were the hardest and you will need help with basic stuff meals shower laundry getting around and making sure you do physio every day

If you are going alone you can still do it but plan support ahead of time either a rehab place a caregiver or a hotel setup that can help and handle transport

Once you get into a routine it becomes way more manageable and mentally you feel better because you see progress every week

If you go through with it start a diary here it helps a lot and people will give you useful tips and motivation

Thank you Charizard.

It seems like you had personal help?

It seems like then I will need to book a rehab place with what you mentioned for a month then. Will need to factor that into my budget.
