I dont know the financial arrangement but I highly doubt Becker could buy the whole practice and name. Betz trained Becker, hes prob taking over as the head surgeon and gets an equity share, but not the whole thing.
Most of these deals involve vendor financing
Eg he may have bought 50% share, paid what he could and funded the rest via loan from betz. This Loan id paid down via dividends over next few years
Is it possible to still consult Dr Betz and get him to be involved in the surgery?
Dr. Betz is retired by end of this year as per Betz Institute
