To be honest, it was more difficult than I had imagined so far. My xrays look great, but I was in a lot more pain than I expected post-surgery, and I couldn't stand/walk until a few days after. This could have been due to my weariness not to be on pain meds. I feel pretty ok now. To answer your second question, I already had enough money on hand when I learned about the surgery.
